Spiced Cranberry Spritz

Ingredients:

2 inches fresh ginger
2-3 pieces of cinnamon sticks
tsp of orange zest
1 1/2 cups of water
1 cup of sugar
1/4 tsp Kashmiri Garam Masala

Procedure:

To make the spiced simple syrup:

  1. Take heavy bottom saucepan on medium heat, put all ingredients

  2. Once it boils, put on low and simmer for about 10 to 15 minutes until the flavors get infused

  3. Sieve the liquid and keep in refrigerator cold

Make a Cranberry Spritz

  1. Add an ounce of the spiced simple syrup, then 4 ounces of the cranberry cocktail base, top with sparkling cider

  2. Best served in a champagne glass

Blood Orange Old Fashioned

Blood Orange Old Fashioned

Procedure

  1. In a cocktail shaker, stir all ingredients together and shake well.

  2. Take two cocktail glasses and add desired amount of ice.

  3. Garnish with a maraschino cherry and blood orange peel.

  4. Serve immediately.
     

Tips

  1. Strain the freshly squeezed blood orange juice to remove any pulp or seeds.

Ingredients

4 oz Bullet Bourbon

2 oz fresh blood orange juice

2-3 dashes orange or cherry bitters

1 tsp honey

Maraschino cherries for garnish, optional

Blood orange peel for garnish, optional

Sparkling Pomegranate Limeade

Sparkling Pomegranate Limeade

Serves 8 - 10

Procedure

Simple Syrup:
Put sugar and water in a sauce pan over medium heat until the sugar dissolves. Let it cool.

  1. In a pitcher, add the mint leaves to crushed ice and a few slices of lime.
  2. Add the simple syrup and mix.
  3. Add the pomegranate juice and the lime juice and mix it well.
  4. Top it with the sparkling mineral water.  
  5. Pour over a lime ring.

Ingredients

1 cup of water
1 cup of evaporated cane sugar
4 limes, juiced
1 lime cut into ½ inch rings
1 quart of sparkling mineral water
1 quart of pomegranate juice
1 bunch of fresh mint leaves
2 cups of crushed ice
